This mashup has got to be one of the moments why Youtube rocks. Staged or not, that VMA moment was definitely one hell of a controversy this year. And if you are reading this from facebook or multiply try watching the video here.

Reporter says JLo does What Job? [VIDEO]

Another problem with live newscast, when reporters think of something else when they are delivering. This video has got to be the one of the biggest FAIL vids I stumbled across. Where the hell did that come from? Thing is, he doesn’t know either. LOL

Google is making us stupid

As it turns out, Google’s Suggestion Feature backfired against them and revealed what it really is. For Pete’s sake it’s “skynet” and it’s “going to take over the world!” FYI “In The Terminator series, Skynet is the primary antagonist—an artificially intelligent system which became self aware and revolted against its creators.”Try this for yourself. Other suggestion FAIL:And the most shocking is…How to hack, get pregnant, lose and gain weight. So WTF?

Understand The 2008-09 Global Crisis in Simple Terms | By Comparing It to a Bar

The intricacies of the financial crisis are not well understood by all.

Heidi is the proprietor of a bar in Berlin. In order to increase sales, she decides to allow her loyal customers - most of whom are unemployed alcoholics - to drink now but pay later. She keeps track of the drinks consumed on a ledger.
Word gets around and as a result increasing numbers of customers flood into Heidi’s bar.
Taking advantage of her customers’ freedom from immediate payment limits, Heidi increases her prices for wine and beer, the most-consumed beverages. Her sales volume increases massively.
A young and dynamic customer service consultant at the local bank recognizes these customer debts as valuable future assets and increases Heidi’s borrowing limit.
He sees no reason to worry since he has the debts of the alcoholics as guarantee.
At the bank’s corporate headquarters, expert bankers transform these customer assets into bonds.
These bonds are then traded on markets worldwide. No one really un…

Craig Ferguson: My New Favorite Comedian Tells Us Why He Won’t Give Britney Jokes

I still can’t see enough a reason why Studio 23 won’t purchase broadcasting rights in the Philippines for his show. This man gives the best monologues and who always get his message across be it funny or something sentimental. Watch the video below and I bet you will be searching for more in Youtube.

God, Trials, Friends and Love. The Greatest Lines On Earth You Could Say, Send and Write

GodThe shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor. Pray. If He asks you to put something down, He wants you to pick up something better. He has greater faith in us than we have in ourselves. If you never felt pain, how would you know He is a healer? TrialsTrials are like grapes, they are crushed to produce the best wine. You can’t leave footprints if you walk on tip toe. Others may always be unsure, but you can always go on. The fire that melts the butter,
Is the same fire that hardens steel.

3 Simple Rules In Life

As a young adult, I've come to realize why childhood was way happier. As we grow old, we tend to complicate life. Call me a liar for all I care but you know where I'm coming from.

We create our problems and what's worse is that we don't consciously know we do that. We make a lot of excuses, rationalize our failure, procrastinate, make poor choices, ignore problems, succumb to worries, and quit immediately when the going gets rough.

We need to make a choice. The choice to make something happen and the choice to be happy

The world will continue to run with or without us. And with every opportunity that runs past us, it is in our best interest to stop it and ride along. We are not getting younger and we, millenials, have this grand illusion that the world is ours for the taking.

Truth is, the world only loves those who dare live it.

What is your goal today? How driven are you to achieve it? How do you want to be remembered?

These things make us ask ourselves and as we gus…

I bet you have not watched “Uton and the Secrets of the Mountains” | Tribal Women Kill Their Own Children

Last night, while I was watching 700 Club Asia on QTV, they had this special movie presentation that tells the story of Uton, a Christian tribe member in Mindoro. She is living in the mountains with her sister and it turns out, her tribe, the Mangyans, have a really dark secret: killing their own babies right after birth because of poverty.
At night, she is haunted by the cries of babies in the mountains. Some women, she says trembling, crush the skull of the babies and some wrap them in cloth and hang them on trees. She even recalled a story where she heard a child cry for three days and on the third day, the baby passed away and she wasn't even able to find it.

She couldn’t put herself together when she tried to save one baby when she caught one mother giving birth by the river and threw her baby on the raging waters. Uton was too late but she gave the baby a humane burial. The actress that played her and her sister was so realistic and moving, they gave authority to tell what …

6 Facts about Life

No matter what you do, some will be unsatisfied, some will not appreciate and some will let you down.
This is life. It is unfair but it loves the person who dares to live it.

David Beckham and Ellen on a controversial photo shoot

During an interview, Ellen DeGeneres presented Beckham with an outrageous 30-foot print of Ellen superimposing her face over Victoria Beckham’s underwear-clad body who was sticking to David in a shot. Don’t they look haut?

‘Aroma Paradise’ lives up to its name as our family outing destination

Last Sep. 7, holiday, we certainly had a blast when the whole Pingkian family decided to  come together for a fun day at a resort in the far north. Far far north. We arrived in Imelda Aroma Paradise, a huge resort in Catmon that’s 3 hour ride from the City of Cebu and mind you the drive won’t bore you at all with attractions in Danao up to the great resthouses in Catmon itself.
The resort was beautifully manicured with great shrubbery and landscaping with a 3 pools: a kiddie, medium and an infinity pool uphill where our cottage is located. With only P100 each as entrance, inclusive of all amenities, you can bring along food and drinks and do whatever you can in the place. We even went bird watching with my cousins’ binoculars. A huge slide and lots of areas for pictorials. There are videoke machines and rooms for transients. Anyway, enough blahs and enjoy the slideshow below.

Even The Angels Think “What The Hell?” | The Worst Situations Are Happening in the World | Where Do You Stand | Part 2

[Part 1]
Creation versus Evolution. An endless debate but I’m 50-50 basing on views that I’ve accumulated through the years but greatly leaning towards creation because I believe stronger in my faith than believing my ancestors were hanging from the trees.

Go Green. I love it when people are so active in saving the environment. We’ve never been of great help to Earth than now where companies and individuals like you and me put are acts together in an ambitious attempt to regain the beauty of living in the planet way back when.

Survey Calls. They are legal and they benefit you either it improves the products and services that you use or they are used by politicians to gather enough pulse from the public which may affect you or your family. But most importantly it shows that the companies or the government you have a connection with, makes an effort to let you know they care and that whatever you say matters. Would it hurt to be not a jerk once in awhile?

I had a long Weekend: Went to Milo Olympics, Chilled Out in Holiday Plaza and the mall, Partied with old friends at a Fiesta

Apparently my Saturday was so hectic, I had to like walk from here and there and go places and meet old friends all in my hideous shirt and jogging pants. Originally my day was only set for Red Team Game Practices but due to the sports complex being used for Milo Olympics this year, we decided to watch Soccer and Track and Field. They went ahead and I stayed awhile to watch Dancesport, Badminton and Swimming Competitions. But I followed them anyway to Angellica Bakeshop. While we were chilling out, a lady talked us out to attending a business training program or something. We followed her anyway since food was apparently served for free. :>Before that, we snuck out and went malling and hung out in Holiday Plaza and the mall and took pictures like freakin’ tourists. Then I had to say goodbye and pass the business training thing to attend to a greater food trip, a fiesta. I went to my old friend’s house and met up with some old high school buddies from the C. A. T. 1 Unit and had a g…

Even The Angels Think “What The Hell?” | The Worst Situations Are Happening in the World | Where Do You Stand | Part 1

ARE YOU MAD? You should be.

What is happening with the world?

DUI. People are driving under the influence, they’re planning to legalize marijuana, and there’s this spark about the minimum legal drinking age.

Piracy. We are downloading music and software illegally or buying pirated ones.

Animal Abuse. People start eating dogs, cats, whales and rabbits. How could you even dare to do that? Or maybe involve them in carnage like underground dog fighting or gruesome bull and dog fighting. What happened to racing them?

Kidnapping, car napping, people are grabbing whatever they can.

Media. Media biased and brainwashing everyone, dictating us what to know and giving us all the reasons to spread hatred on almost everything; and then they bitch about censorship which I think is good because media like anything else needs responsibility. Watch the news and judge for yourself.

“Family” A Scrapbook | Tribute to People Who Mattered

Just how much do you love your family? And I mean including your relatives and not just your immediate home buddies.
Yup, our love for them encompasses so many beautiful things and as they say our family is a haven in this heartless world. While rest of the world walks away, our family remains with us.
This is my ultimate tribute to the people that mattered to me and I truly am sorry if I may have missed some people due to lack of photo resource but you always know how I feel about you.
So take time to do things that you're family will appreciate. All you have is today and tomorrow is a very uncertain thing. If you are viewing this from facebook, chances are you won't see the embedded slideshow above.
I suggest this link for full screen view of the gorgeous album:

Tatakbo ka ba? | I joined GMA 7’s Fun Run for clean election 2010

GMA Network initiates a grand pre-election activity that aims to promote clean and honest elections last Sunday, August 30, at the CICC in Cebu (main even at The Bonifacio Global City).
Why it rocks? Well, it was a fun 5k run with the whole AMA Cebu Admin and friends, there was free meals there after, photo-op with Cebu broadcaster Bobby Nalzaro, signing the wall of commitment and I get to see political aspirants in our province dancing to the tune of “Sabay-Sabay Tayo.” But most especially, the chance to get to see these aspirants sign up a public document that they will never get engaged in corruption and election fraud was one of the best things we should support activities like these.
We always whine but we wait for the world to change. This event is one of the reasons to shame ABS’s Ako ang Simula.

Do you know Cristeta Comerford? | Pinoy Chef to the World’s Most Powerful Men

George W. Bush, Indian PM Manmohan Singh, and Barack Obama are nothing but the biggest clients of this soft-spoken Pinay hailing from Sampaloc, Manila. When a pioneer of the organic-food movement wrote to Obama that he should hire a new chef, big-name candidates for the job began to circulate, including Oprah Winfrey's personal chef, and one of the Obamas' favorite cook from Chicago. But then Michelle Obama announced that the family would stick with Cristeta Comerford, President Bush's chef since 2005 and the first woman to hold the job. And the first Filipino to note.Michele Obama says, "also the mom of a young daughter, I appreciate our shared perspective on the importance of healthy eating and healthy families."[1]
