Shows You Should Watch While You Are Alive and their Awesome Promo Materials | Part 2

I’ve shared that Lost, Desperate Housewives, 24 and others made it on the top my favorite shows ever. Now let me share 7 more great shows that’s totally worth your breathing time. Even if they didn’t make it on the first half doesn’t make them any less special than they truly are. And as usual their creative marketing people did a great job on these photo shoots and posters all the while giving justice to the shows and added more awesomeness to already awesome.

Television has had the biggest impact on the society today and I could never be more proud to share to you my picks for the greatest shows that ever aired.
And as a TV junkie, I have these high-res photos I got from the wire and I was thinking I might wanna share some to you guys; exclaiming how great they were made, gives me more reasons to love the shows.
You might have read a lot of countdowns of the greatest TV shows but you could only see less that gives great importance to creative marketing. And this time when I say a picture is worth a thousand words, I totally mean it.

First Day in Sunset Valley | My First Sims 3 Experience Photo Log

I’m pretty sure to all Sims addicts out there know that EA has already launched Sims 3 a few months ago with a promise to lessen loading time, open-world gaming and more control over customization with your characters and the world they interact with.
And it had never let me down. Despite the fact that the game play was choppy, I didn’t mind putting visual options at low since it was something I compromised. Apparently, this game is not optimized for older machines but anyway…
With all my eagerness to play the Sims 3 on a Sunday night, I didn’t go through and played with the Create-A-Sim feature but instead entered the neighborhood with premade characters. What made me chose them was how the game described their story:
Roommates, Gwen Glover and Holden Wozny are an odd pair. She is artsy and outgoing while he’s spacey and bookish. Will they be just friends or something more?
Gwen Glover is brave, artistic, charismatic and lucky.
Holden Wozny is absent-minded, great kisser, bookworm and …

Lighting a Dark Society: Rizal's Brindis Speech Reaction

Read Brindis Speech here.

The speech was Rizal’s toast to the triumph of D. Juan Luna’s Spolarium painting and it seems to me that the whole monologue was said in great meditation and in my opinion, he has commanded the attention of those who came for the dinner.

In the first few parts, he described the surroundings with much romanticism like he is surrounded by “men of heart” and ” where noble emotions dwell” and “the air is full of empathetic good feeling.” At the time, the Philippines was under so much oppression by the Spanish friars that is impossible to talk about it in public unless you would want to be incarcerated as a filibuster.

In a true heroic fashion, his words was enough to give us an imprint of how well he enunciated these forbidden things, and how big an impression he makes to everyone who witnesses his formal address.

Could Illac Diaz be the next Social Hero like Rizal?

But in the Speech, Rizal fearlessly exclaims the reason why they are gathered and that is to signify…

Irish priest freed because kidnappers will watch Pacquiao

Did you know that the sudden release of Micheal Sinnott was because of someone else: the world’s top pound-for-pound boxer. Manny still holds the record of keeping a zero crime rate here in the country during his fights. The Irish priest said his captors decided to get him out of the jungles of Mindanao as early as possible because they wanted to catch Manny Pacquiao’s fight with Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto.“Your freedom is our freedom. We don’t want to be here for a long time, too. And we want to watch Pacquiao’s fight.” - Sinnott said on Saturday, quoting his kidnappers as saying. -And critics of the Arroyo administration said it was done just in time of Hillary Clinton’s visit. Well, guess what Manny proved them wrong.;]

My 2012 Movie Review and Why Skeptics are Wrong

For me 2012 is the mother of all disaster movies.
It is the most intricate and the largest in scale in destroying Earth. In addition, accurate, terrifyingly precise and the most convincing one at best.
The destruction of LA gave me goose bumps and the eruption of Yellowstone was totally awesome.
But the horrific parts were those that involved the crumbling of iconic landmarks across the globe: Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer, St. Peter’s Basilica, Washington Monument, and the Genesis Ocean Liner toppled in one swift wave.
I also have to give props to John Cusack and Chiwetel Ejiofor for their acting achievement.

Noy Noy Aquino’s Ad Comically Criticized

Nicojr one of my favorite Pinoy bloggers have expressed criticism to the aspirant I don’t wish to vote for. And he did it pretty well. Here are the greatest lines he has jabbed:
It all seems so easy. No obstacles, no pain, no sadness, no struggle, not even a drop of sweat. Halaman lang ang sagabal. Whoever thought hope and change would be this effortless?
[The ad] brings to mind the age-old aphorism, the standard precaution to consumers: If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
The revolution is not a dinner party.

My Favorite Sem Break Outing Pictures

Photographs are the best way to immortalize a moment, remember people and show people you’re comfortable with how you look. That is why God didn’t give me a pricey digital camera so I may need my friends to take my pictures. But anyway, just like the rest of us, I love photography so much I breathe on it.
C.A.T. OutingWe planned a reunion with my co-C.A.T. officers in high school which was organized a long time with the aid of Facebook and the idea just excited me because I haven’t seen most of them in such a long time (and were talking years). I mean they’re like brothers and sisters to me considering what we went through during the training days. When we arrived at the Legazpi Resort, we were in such awe because the entrance wasn’t very flattering at all not until you reach the pool which is adjacent to the rooms and the dining hall. It was literally exclusive but not as pricey as we thought. The sea was great even if it was low tide. It provided a great backdrop for our fun moments …
